Oilfield Chemistry reports on the use of chemical agents and methods (including chemical, biochemical, and biological agents and methods) in the processes of oil-gas drilling, exploitation, gathering, storage, and transportation, as well as related scientific and technological achievements. The publication contentinvolves a wide range of areas, including drilling and completion fluids, cementing slurry, primary, secondary, and tertiaryoil recovery agents, injection water treatment, crude oildemulsification, chemical processing in gathering and transportation, corrosion and protection, chemical issues in oil and gas reservoir protection, chemical issues in oilfield environmental protection, chemical agent analysis and identification. The scope of the journal covers all aspects from applied basic research, research and development of chemical agents and process technologies, performance evaluation, and structure-property relationship, to-field tests and application promotion.
Oilfield Chemistryfocuses on applied technologies and theories, as well asrelevant basic theories. The current columns include Research Papers(including newsletters), Monographs and Reviews, Enterprises and Products, Research Institutions and Achievements.
II Registration Guide
At the time of registration, authors are requested to use their commonly used e-mail address as a username. The authors’ profession,detailed research direction, and mobile phone number are required. After successful registration, an activation email will be sent tothe author’s email address. Please click the link in this email to activate the account. Otherwise, the account will remain dormant.
Note: If one has already registered before asa reader or reviewer, they can use the previous account tolog in.In the case offorgettingthe password, the author can click the "Forgot password" button on the login page to retrieve it. Please do not register repeatedly.
III Submission Guide
1)Manuscript should not have been published previously, and should not involve confidential information. Articles that have been presented at academic conferences but not formally published or published in internal publications can still be regarded asunpublished. Authors should be the main participants in theresearch or the writer of a monograph or review. Generally, the number of authors should not exceed six. The authorship in researcharticles should comply with the provisions of the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China, and be verified by the authors’ institutions. Each author's institution, province/city (county), and postal code should be indicated.
2) Once the manuscript is accepted, an Acceptance Receipt will be sent to the authors via E-mail, and the authors will receive the review results within three months. The journal will provide revision suggestions for the manuscript intended for publication. Please return the revised manuscript as soon as possible. For those unable to return or delay revision due to special circumstances, please send a statement email toofchemythx@163.com. If the revised manuscript is not returned within two months, the manuscriptwill be regarded as withdrawn. The journal reserves the right to modify the manuscript as appropriate before its formal publication and requires authors to confirm during the proofreading process.
3) Once the manuscript is formally published, the journal will provide remuneration and send a copy of the current issue, to facilitate academic exchanges between the authors and their peers at home and abroad.Unless withspecial declaration, it will be regarded that submitted manuscripts are agreed by authors to be cited and included in domestic and international abstract journals and literature databases, without additional remuneration.
IV Requirements for Manuscripts
Articlesshould have clear background and significance, highlight the topicand innovative results of the research, with clear logic, complete headings,and comprehensive research details.
1) The content of figures and tables should not be repetitive, and the number of figures should generally not exceed five. The position of figures and tables should be in line with the text. Please refer to the Figure Example for a detailed and specific format. To expand the international influence of the journal, bilingual (Chinese and English) captions for figures and tables will be implemented from 2024.
2) Author informationshould be indicated at the footer of the first page, including name, year of birth, gender,position, professional title, highest degree (school, major, year of graduation, degree), research direction, andaddress. Please also provide the telephone number, mobile number, and email address of the corresponding author.
3) Properly cite references, indicate the sources in the main text,and use consecutive Arabic numerals enclosed in square brackets in the order of citation in the text (do not use automatic numbering). Please do not cite unpublished works. The formatting of the reference at the end of the text should adhere to the national standard GB/T 7714—2015 and CAJ-CD B/T 1—1998. Please refer to the Format of Reference for more information. Starting from 2024, Chinese references should be accompanied by their corresponding English translations, they both should be listed under the same reference number.
V Fees
1) Publication fees are charged for accepted manuscripts to cover the costs of language editing, figures and tables modification, open access publication, peer review, and publishing materials, which should be paid by authors, their institutions, funding project, etc.
2) Charging Standards: CNY260 per page; CNY150 per manuscript per peer reviewer. Based on a statistical analysis of previous experience, the total fees typically range from CNY 1000 to 3000 per article, depending on the number of pages and other factors.
3) Authors can refer to the payment notice sent by the editorial office (available for download on the official website) to submit the publication fee. When making the payment, please indicate the manuscript serial number in the remarks, register on the official website, and provide complete invoice information. The review fee will be collected after the typesetting of the article.
